Naukuchiatal

The nine-cornered lake of Naukuchiatal lies at a distance of 25 kilometres from Nainital within Uttarakhand. The name Naukuchiatal means "Lake of Nine Corners," and the hill town stands at 1,220 meters above sea level to provide visitors with a tranquil retreat away from Nainital's busy streets.

Nainital Lake

Naina Devi Temple

Located atop the Naina hillock near northern shore of the Naini Lake, the Naina Devi Temple is one of the most revered temples in Northern India. It is a famous Shakti Peeth of Hindu religion and draws devotees from all over the country. It is believed this was the place where eyes of Sati’s corpse fell when Lord Shiva carried her.

The Mall Road

The Mall road is the central hub of the Nainital and is definitely a must visit on your trip to the city. It has a bunch of places, couple of things and plenty of activities to do when on a vacation to the Mall Road. The Mall road is located at a distance of some 15 km from the Kempty Falls.

Bhimtal Lake

The freshwater lake Bhimtal is found within Bhimtal town, which stands at 22 kilometres from Nainital in Uttarakhand's Kumaon region. The lake received its name from the Mahabharata character Bhima and stands as the largest district water body as well as one of Uttarakhand's most popular lakes.

Kainchi Dham

Kainchi Dham, nestled in the tranquil hills of Nainital district, is a spiritually significant ashram founded by the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s.
